Lately, I’ve been asked more and more if Virginie and I are a couple. And honestly? The first time I laughed. The second time I frowned. The third time... my mom asked. Are you fucking kidding me? Really? 🤦‍♀️

Since when did just being friends become suspicious? Is that out of fashion or something? Is there a Gen Z rulebook I missed? 🤔

Yes, we’re close. Yes, we laugh our asses off together. Yes, we’re planning trips, podcasts, workshops, future plans that some people don’t even dare dream of. ✈️🎙️✨

I mean, love everybody, truly. Rainbow community, I see you. 🌈 Shine on. But that doesn’t mean every deep connection has to fall under the LGBTQIA+ flag. 🏳️‍🌈

Virginie is my soulsister. The sister I never had. The woman who stood by me when I was most broken. We share something. Something pure. Something even 🥥 (oh wait, no coconut mentions today!) would be jealous of. 💖

I get it, really. It’s confusing if you’re not used to real connection. If all your friendships are based on convenience and not on truth. 💯

We’re going on a roadtrip soon. Two women, one car, Spotify battles 🎶, junk food 🍿, and a GPS that will probably leave us somewhere between hope and despair. 😅
